government is not a monopoly, if representatives are chosen democratically.  It is in fact the only weapon we have against monopoly (although in today&#039;s world hardly ever used anymore because representatives are not chosen democratically anymore, but by the highest bidder)
All monopolies are bad, what you call the &quot;good&quot; stage is simply the delayed onset of the actual effects of the monopoly.  True, things become a bit more orderly, but that&#039;s like saying &quot;fascism isn&#039;t all bad, at least it makes the trains run on time&quot;]]></description>
