I have been utilizing my car as a mobile office for a number of years and cite the following pros and cons from personal experience. The only equipment needed is some kind of lap top desk, lap top computer, power inverter, cellular mobile hub (phone hotspot will do in a pinch but not ideal) and Cloud based apps. Shady parking spots are primo as viewing computer screen in the sun causes eye strain.

Pros

-The driver's seat with programmable settings (driving mode and office mode) is probably the most highly engineered seat you'll ever sit in and is comfortable enough for many hours of focused computer time with limited side effects.

-If the support information is set up properly everything is at your fingertips anytime, anywhere often utilizing time otherwise wasted.

-More Project time as any spare moment can be utilized effectively

-Allows for greater meeting flexibility and more one on one time with clients.

-Allows more time for strategizing

Cons

-Cell data and climate control while parked are currently cost prohibitive

-Difficult to maintain team culture while isolated most of the time

All in all the mobile work experience has been positive and will always be a part my modus operandi.
