Great comments, Yes, it is indeed too early to grasp all of the changes coming out of the “great reboot!” There are many good things, many bad things, and many changes where its far too early to put a good or bad label on them. The only thing we feel certain about is that we will not be returning to “business as usual.”

Thanks Bill, I like your comments on Industry 4.0 which will be heavily influenced by our current set of circumstances. We will undoubtedly see tons of new apps, technologies, and business models that will have their origins in the downtime we’re currently experiencing. Chaos is a powerful tool. Virtually everyone is now rethinking their job, opportunities, family life, social life, their digital persona, and the importance of the people they surround themselves with. Even the slightest shift in trajectory will constitute a massive change over time. What we’re experiencing is ten million trajectory shifts happening simultaneously.

Peter, thanks for your comments. It’ll be an interesting exercise to look back at this time in history ten years from now and ask if we over-reacted, under-reacted, or would handle it exactly the same given our current set of circumstances. My sense is that very few people will say we handled it exactly right.
