Hi! My name is Marty Schirn. I really like this blog post!

I want to share some things that I think might help predict the future. You are free to agree or disagree as you wish.

As I see it, there are two simultaneous processes occurring on our planet. Each affects the other. Each is increasing at an accelerating rate.

The first process is disintegrative. Disunity is the disease of our time. All the countless problems we are experiencing are merely symptoms of this increasingly destructive disease.

The second process is integrative. Unity is the Spirit of this New Day in human history! Due to advances in trade, technology, science, and many other factors, all the nations are becoming increasingly interdependent. No one has the power to stop this integrative process, just as no one has the power to stop the rising of the sun.

The more the world’s leaders try to resist this irresistible integrative process, the greater the suffering that will be required to unite the human race.

Humanity has turned twenty-one! True, we still act like immature teenagers.

Nevertheless, I believe we have entered our long-awaited Age of Maturity. We have our greatest and longest period of growth and development ahead of us!

In spite of worsening conditions on our planet, people and nations are coming together to resolve our complex issues. They don’t always succeed; often they fall short.

But the fact remains that people everywhere are waking up to our new reality: oneness, unity, harmony, inclusiveness, justice, diversity, equality.

No matter how severe conditions become, I believe permanent SPIRITUAL world peace through world unity is INEVITABLE!

I believe the solid foundation for this new world civilization will be the ONENESS OF HUMANITY.

My beliefs come from the universal teachings of Baha’u’llah (1817-1892), Founder of the youngest of the major world religions, the Baha’i Faith.
